Chief Information Officer – North America (Paper Excellence Group)
Lori Kilgour was appointed Chief Information Officer for North America on November 29, 2023. Before this, she held several leadership roles at Resolute Forest Products, including Senior Vice President of Process Improvement and CIO. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at Tembec, Verso Corporation, International Paper, and Catalyst.
Senior Vice President, Commercial Pulp and Tissue (Paper Excellence Group)
John Lafave was appointed Senior Vice President of Commercial Pulp and Tissue on July 1, 2023. With over 35 years of experience in the forest products industry, he has held various roles at Resolute since 2003, including Senior Vice President of Pulp and Paper Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Resolute, he worked with UPM-Kymmene and Repap Enterprises.
Senior Vice President, Human Resources – North America (Paper Excellence Group)
Daniel Ouellet became Senior Vice President of Human Resources for North America on October 4, 2023. He previously served in various senior HR roles at Resolute Forest Products, overseeing both Canadian and U.S. operations. He also has operational experience in sawmill management and has worked at Alliance Forest Products and Alcan.
President, Wood Products (Paper Excellence Group)
Luc Thériault became President of the Wood Products division on August 26, 2024. He has a rich history with Resolute, where he held leadership positions such as Senior Vice President of Wood Products. Luc returned to the Paper Excellence Group after a brief time outside the forest products industry. He has also worked with St-Laurent Paperboard and Smurfit-Stone.
President, Pulp and Tissue (Paper Excellence Group)
Richard Tremblay was appointed President of the Pulp and Tissue division on February 2, 2024. He previously served as Senior Vice President for Pulp and Paper Operations at Resolute Forest Products. Richard brings over a decade of leadership experience from roles at Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation, where he managed several mills.
